Autodesk Takeoff

| Sheets & Models | Snapping to linework and zooming is not supported on raster PDFs. Use vector PDFs for the best experience. It is not possible to publish models directly from the Files tool. Upload models to the Sheets & Models tool. Certain actions in the Takeoff viewer will prevent you from undoing those actions in the takeoff package. These actions are exiting the takeoff package; creating, modifying, or deleting a takeoff type; and switching documents. Simultaneous updates to a document are not supported. The page needs to reload to reflect all changes, which can lead to conflicting edits. Most Revit objects can be selected in bulk using the context menu, but Revit Parts can not be identified or selected using this method. The "View Sheets" link does not take you to the specific file. To open a sheet or model in the viewer, select a package and then choose a sheet or model from the content panel on the left side of the screen. Only one scale per sheet is supported across all Takeoff packages. If you change the scale on a sheet, it will update the sheet across all Takeoff packages. To perform takeoff using multiple scales on the same sheet, upload a copy of that sheet for each scale. |
| Packages | When exporting Takeoff packages to Microsoft® Excel, each package will be generated as an individual sheet. Sheet names in Excel are limited to 31 characters, so package names may be truncated when exported. |
| Members | When invited to a Takeoff project, members will be taken to Autodesk Docs. Use the product picker to navigate to the Takeoff product. If a member has access to Autodesk Build as well, they will be taken to Build. |
Design Collaboration
